Submission process

Submissions should be sent by e-mail to journal@poa.org.au by the relevant deadline. The editors will advise whether the submission is, in their collective view, suitable for publication. Submissions will be edited for length, clarity and accuracy. Authors will receive an edited version of the article for correction. The usual word range is 2500–8000 words for articles and 1000–2000 words for book reviews.

Copyright

The author retains copyright to any article that is published in the journal. The submission must be an original contribution that has not been previously published in whole or in part; must be the author’s own work; must not infringe another’s copyright, moral rights or rights of privacy; and must not be libellous.
